I Can Forgive But…

Close the Door Forever

Some say. “I can forgive, but I can’t forget.” How about, “I decide to forgive and the door to the thought is closed forever?”

I discovered that if I decide to forgive, I do so without necessarily having to feel like forgiving. I decide to forgive, irrespective of how I feel.

I am quick to forgive a wrongdoing; this way it never gets to clutter my mind or rule my life.

Thoughts about others’ wrongdoings toward me may result in decisions on my part, to better myself, but otherwise, they are of no use; why would I want to hang on to thoughts about the wrongdoings?

Invariably, those that perpetrate the wrongdoings forget about them long before I do.

Let it go – for your sake!
