Spirituality-Wisdom Snippets From Peter.

Spirituality

Spirituality is, at the very least, a mystery. At worst, it can be slavery. While conforming to the ways of the universe is rewarding, slavery to human interpretations of spirituality can destroy my freedom and joy.

I find it fascinating; the more I discover about myself, the more there is yet to discover. Seems to be no end to this state.

Is all that matters to me right now honestly matter at all?

I never run dry on things to do.

Specific philosophy I understand in theory. Yet, it is much harder to apply to my life. Then again, how important is a philosophy?

To question is human, but in a moment of critical decision, it is not an option. In this case, immediate action is wiser.

It seems to be the road of the spiritual search is an exceedingly long one. I believe it only comes to an end in eternity, at which point, I assume, we will find out if we used our opportunities in life well enough.

Flexible-Wisdom Snippets From Peter.

Flexible

Feature Photo Mary Kapka Upsplash.com.

I have an ordered but flexible life. I live this lifestyle for no other reason than my personal comfort. To be flexible is to come away from slavery to orderliness.

Achievement is like a person who sees an opportunity, seizes it with both hands, placing it into the wardrobe of their mind. Then wearing it on a suitable day

I am grateful that some of the things I wished for in my ignorance, never came about in my life. I would not be writing these lines if they had.

Making use of as many opportunities as possible must surely be a gift.

I am a forward thinker and I maintain this state by constantly researching.

What is a forward thinker?

I consider myself to be a forward thinker. Although, I must admit to not being a forward planner; more of a forward dreamer. Planning is an excellent idea for those who like to set goals, strategize, and then monitor their accomplishments. I am essentially a confident person who believes in himself; Although there are times when making presentations, for instance, my knees wobble a little. Whether you are a forward planner or dreamer, it helps to see yourself accomplishing your desires. One characteristic I have is that of effectively managing my thoughts. And I believe it to be an essential ingredient to achieving your plans or dreams.

Weekly Words of Wisdom

On Laws and Rules:

I have often felt that so many messages posted on media attempt to set rules for my life.

Nearly all of my life there have been those who have set down rules for me; parents, teachers, employers, religion, just to name a few. Now here are folks on media doing the same thing!

I submitted to the slavery of following rules until one day, I discovered that I’m free to make up my own mind on anything at all. I don’t need rules to do that for me.

Now nobody sets the rules for my life but I and I design my own life.

I found out that inside of me there is a moral assessor and if I listen carefully to the assessor’s voice I can discern which rule is morally beneficial and which is not, yippee!

Aaah, I know what you thinking…. What about the law, is that not a rule?

You might be surprised to know there is a difference between laws and rules.

Laws are ratified in parliament or senate, rules arise from tradition and customs in our society.

If being a member of an organization requires me to follow their rules and it suits me to belong to that organization, I follow their rules, otherwise, I don’t join them.

Oh the sweet fragrance of freedom to decide.
