Corner-Wisdom Snippets From Peter.

Corner

Feature Photo gokhunguneyhan Upsplash.com

The wonder of my life is always a matter of what is around the next corner. This is the mystery; I never know until the corner has been turned. My decision is to be content and grateful, where I am until I’ve turned the next corner.

I love the world of children, who talk to themselves, Imagine being great heroes saving the world, whilst walking to school; then sleeping like a baby when the day is done. Accordingly, you and I should be the same. With this in mind, would you agree?

Are we not all imprisoned by the daily burden of earning and spending? If every prison offers an opportunity for escape, then we too must plan to make the great escape as well.

As the CEO of my mind and body. I will make all the final decisions. Fate may bring what it will and then the three of us will seek a solution, only once fate has made a delivery and not one moment before.

There is an unlimited source of power within me. My joy and delight are, I control the power switch.

Misfortunes-Peter’s Wisdom Snippets .

misfortune

Feature Photo by Sigmund Upsplash.com

Because of the many misfortunes, I have experienced in my own life that I have compassion for those that lack in any way. And in this way, with my compassion, misfortunes became fortunes.

In times of sorrow, without thinking, I set my living aside to focus on my sorrow; And yet, sorrow gives nothing but pain, it is a taker of my joy and peace. But living is a giver of all manner of wonderful experiences. So I opted to leave sorrow behind and live. What a difference that has made to me.

I found that if do something helpful for another, I am immediately uplifted.

Integrity holds within its grasp the power of generosity towards others. And generosity towards others holds the power of return to sender, with interest.

Authority-Wisdom Snippets -From Peter.

Authority

Feature Photo by Rita Morais Upsplash.com

With my intelligence, I have authority. Yet, it has no power without my wise management.

While I search for self-development and learning, my higher discovery has been how to apply my fertile imaginativeness.

I cannot change my after-life destiny, but I’ve enjoyed many years improving my present life.

For me, it is an immense wealth to be of helpful service to my fellow humans. For me, it is far above fame and fortune.

I understand that authority is this: The authority on (on a particular matter.) And the authority to do (something.)

Like most of us, I was taught authority by my parents, teachers, and the workplace. My father was the head (I date back many years ago) my mother followed. The order at school, was headmaster, teachers, prefects. Work, the MD, department head, and line manager. These were all people who had to manage my life, learning, and productivity.

Not All Authorities are Authorities.

Among some were authorities on various aspects of management, learning, and productivity. Not all those who of my authorities were authorities in specific subject matters.

The Function of Authority

My line manager was an expert on chemicals, as he was a qualified chemical engineer. At the same time, he issued me instructions on what work I was to do. He also appraised my performance. Finally, he coached me on how to refine this performance.

True Authority

My favorite teacher was my English master. Employed to teach me but also with a Ph.D. in English. He was a specialist in all aspects of the English language and an excellent teacher; he had a command of the English language and a respect for his students. This master never demanded respect; it simply came to him.

Proper authority is invested in us, and how wisely and respectfully we use this is our choice.

Possible-Wisdom Snippets From Peter

Possible

Feature Photo by Josh Couch Upsplash.com

I saw a little red Poppy today, standing proudly, in all its glory This flower had grown through a crack in the pavement along a busy street in a city. I asked, is this possible? It was a lesson for me; anything is possible

My dreams are not born of passivity but rather through passionate emotions for their realization.

Failure has never truly hurt me; what did hurt was not claiming back what I had lost.

The real power in my life comes from within, and I’m pleased about this, as no one can ever take it from me.

One day I saw a little red Poppy, standing proudly, in all its glory, having grown through a crack in the pavement along a busy street in a city. It was a lesson for me; nothing is impossible.

This little poppy was so beautiful; if she had have been human, I would have said she was gorgeous. There, between two dirty grey concrete slabs on a busy sidewalk, she made her home. She had grown out of the soil grouting between the slabs. The poppy had waited for moisture from the sky, and in the soil and humidity, she had nurtured herself.

We can overcome anything.

Despite all the elements against her, she had reached full maturity. How she had survived to this point could only have been a miracle. But the next day, on my way to the office, I saw she was gone. Did someone pick her and take her to an office desk, or was she trampled on? Perhaps the street sweeper pulled her up like a weed and tossed her in his bin. I have no idea.

We can rise into our glory.

I thought about her much after spending a little time of admiration in her presence. the little flower grew from a seed in a tiny amount of soil between two paving slabs. This poppy relied on elements other than herself to nurture in the dark and then blossom forth into the sunlight one day. She had no choice about the place of her birth or how she would grow and survive. Finally, she rose to face the world in all her glory and left having impacted those who saw her so briefly.

See what Carla has to say about rising above our circumstances.

Humanity and Wisdom-Peter’s Quote for The Day.

wisdom

Feature Photo by Alex Shute upsplash.com

Humanity Needs Wisdom

I have discovered Wisdom to be the finest director of knowledge. I can be wise without knowledge. But it is not wise for me to use knowledge without Wisdom directing. Humankind destroyed many Kingdoms over the ages. Although they were knowledgeable, they lacked the support of Wisdom. Some consider knowledge as being the superior power of humanity. They do not know that Wisdom preceded knowledge. Wisdom arrived with the foundations of humanity, but she was only recognized with the progress of time.

Exercising-Peter’s Quote for The Day.

Exercising

Feature Photo by Sam Knight Upsplash.com

Exercise From The Mind

My best experience with gym sessions was the shower after. I diligently performed my exercise routine, but my mind was always elsewhere, because I disliked exercising. Yet I appreciate the value of exercising. I’ve improved on this though; having taught myself to love each movement of every exercise. I was told if I want to put more power into what I’m doing, I must focus my energy on what I’m doing.  I discovered this is working for me. Plus there is a bonus -I get more value for my gym fees. That’s not all… my mind, oh my mind, is so much sharper. I won’t tell this to the gym, they’ll up my fees!

Think From Inside-Peter’s Quote for The Day.

Think

Feature Photo By Belinda Fewings upsplash.com

Don’t Think Outside In.

For most of my life, I used to think outwardly. By comparison, a wise person thinks from the inside out. Thinking about events outside of me meant all events around me caused my thoughts to react. When I changed my thinking habits, I prepared myself to deal with all events in my life. If someone let me down at the last minute, I would have been angry and judgmental about that person. Now I say, I will make another arrangement, which will turn out better. My conscience is clear, and I’m at peace. I have little or no control over issues taking place outside of me. But I have every control over how I respond to these experiences when I think inwardly. How I react to these events will determine the power I have over my state of mind.
