Misfortunes-Peter’s Wisdom Snippets .

misfortune

Feature Photo by Sigmund Upsplash.com

Because of the many misfortunes, I have experienced in my own life that I have compassion for those that lack in any way. And in this way, with my compassion, misfortunes became fortunes.

In times of sorrow, without thinking, I set my living aside to focus on my sorrow; And yet, sorrow gives nothing but pain, it is a taker of my joy and peace. But living is a giver of all manner of wonderful experiences. So I opted to leave sorrow behind and live. What a difference that has made to me.

I found that if do something helpful for another, I am immediately uplifted.

Integrity holds within its grasp the power of generosity towards others. And generosity towards others holds the power of return to sender, with interest.

Grudges-Peter’s Wisdom Snippets.

Grudge

Feature Photo by John Bussell Upsplash.com

When I’m tempted to hold grudges; It calls for rearranging the thoughts in my mind. I make very sure the important thoughts are placed on top of the others. Next, I toss the grudges into file thirteen. Hey-ho, I’m ready to go.

It has become apparent to me that accusing others is a senseless activity. This benefits neither the accuser nor the one being accused. For this reason, I accuse no one, not even myself. Because the folly of blame, justified or not, is this: It is never a solution.

It is said, when I point an accusing finger at anyone, three fingers point back at me. The fingers say, “Energy waster!”

It is both consoling and gratifying for me to respect all my fellow human beings. To treat or think of others with contempt is more damaging to me than it is to them.

I am intensely aware of perceiving something to be what it’s not. Wisdom has taught me to carefully filter my perception in order for me to see things as they really are.

Rainbows-Wisdom Snippets From Peter.

Rainbow

Feature Photo by Gerhard Kupfer Upsplash.com

Have you ever wondered why you can never catch rainbows? Heaven knows I tried many times. Finally, the truth hit home; rainbows always disappear as mysteriously as they arrive. The most wonderful part is though, I am always left with a strong sense of promise that better times are ahead.

The universe is ever moving, she breathes and sleeps as she moves. All within her must move with her there is no other option.

The trees bend in the storm because they know they will stand erect once again when the storm has left.

Actions I perform today, visible or not, may take many moons to reveal themselves, but reveal themselves, they will. This is a fact of life. This is Karma.

What goes around comes around.

We have all, at some time or other, heard or read the above proverb. I have no idea of the exact origins of the proverb. But it could have had some link to the ancient scriptures. Because these allude to the fact that what you sow, that you will reap. Surely this is commonsense to all of us. If I plant carrot seeds, I don’t expect to harvest apples, do I? included in the sowing and reaping principle, we have a graphic view of how the universe functions. Consider the theory of relativity, for example. Which says, in simple terms, what goes up must come down. None of us would argue the toss on this one, would we? So then, in short, however, we conduct our lives in this life will eventuate a return to us. Beneficial or damaging.

But this is not all. If I plant a corn pip, it would grow into a stalk, that will bear two cobs. If healthy and fat these two cobs can bear as many as two thousand pips! Makes you think, doesn’t it?

Lesson: Mind how you live your lives.

Catch-Wisdom Snippets From Peter

Catch

Feature Photo by Vasily Koloda Upsplash.com.

My thoughts and actions are not the results of those around me, nor the characters the world idolizes. But rather the wisdom that is given to me to make my own choices.

I have come to the realization my dreams are controlled by my thinking. When I think success, I experience success. Whatever I think, I experience.

When someone throws a ball at me, what do I do? Catch it of course. Why then don’t I catch the multitudes of opportunities that are thrown my way each day?

I am the master artist in my life. Creating each detail into one magnificent art piece. This creation is not linked to money generation, but rather the quality of life.

Talents-Wisdom Snippets From Peter

Talents

Feature Photo by Etienne Girardet Upsplash.com

Over time I have discovered talents hidden within me; I not only start to use these but I keep looking for others. The cost of finding and using talents is high. I need to stretch myself to the limit to discover and acquire; unless I do, my search is fruitless. The more I use the talents I have, the more they increase. Like water from a tap, the more I turn the tap the greater the flow.

I made a decision recently; to stop planning my life and wait instead for the life intended for me to eventuate. Now I feel like I’ve taken a fun vacation. Seriously, it’s so relaxing.

I am having the most fun I’ve ever enjoyed in my life; ceasing to be stagnant and have now become occupied with putting thoughts onto digital. And creating astounding messages out of them.

Mostly I want people to improve themselves. As I help others to better themselves, I start to feel better myself!

Travel-Wisdom Snippets From Peter

Travel

Feature Photo by Annie Spratt Upsplash.com

My Supercoach explained to me: time in the valley of hardship and tears is but a brief moment as you travel to the mountaintop. Look up and see the towering peaks. They call out to you, “Do not be slowed in your travel by your tears, we are waiting for you.”

I was wondering if there was a person who pushed the buttons and pulled the levers in my life. I had a better thought; what about a person who set a program in place which solved unlimited ‘What ifs’ in my life. I’m sure you’ll agree, it would be labor-saving.

I love meditative prayer. It’s a place where I keep company with nobility.

I understand when I share the blessings given me with others, I become part of the abundance of the universe. In the measure in which I give, it is given to me. The universal principle is worked on a ‘give and receive’ basis and no human has ever outgiven the universe.

Contact-Wisdom Snippets -From Peter.

contact

Feature Photo by Miles Burke Upsplash.com

I’m so grateful that we have access to the many mediums of contact with one another. The benefits are enormous. Not the least being that while we may be thousands of kilometers apart, we are only a couple of keys away from contact.

I am the sole analyst of situations in my life and decidedly the only one to do something about them.

If I am overly concerned for my future, I become a slave to time. Now, as time is an illusion, I become, in truth, a slave to something that does not exist. Don’t you find that odd!

Wisdom came by me because I sought her; I did not know how to live with her when she first arrived. Now we are soulmates.

The word ‘heart’ appears more than a thousand times in the Judeo-Christian scriptures. They say that the heart is not merely a physical organ but the seat of our emotions, no less.

A considerable amount of ancient scripture refers to the word ‘heart’ as a place of emotion. We’ve all heard of the expression, ‘you broke my heart.’ We all understand in this case; the heart is not physically broken. It is emotionally damaged. Most of us will be familiar with the excitement of ‘being in love.’ In particular, how our hearts beat faster in this experience.

The heart is an organ, a powerful pump, moving our lifeline of blood around the body. Is it also a seat for our emotions? Lacking the necessary knowledge medically or scientifically, I cannot comment on this subject. But I find it of particular fascination. If the heart is not only an organ but also a source of emotion, wouldn’t this be amazing?

I found another source that feels the same as I do, and they offer a degree of scientific input. I thought you might like to read Shawn Radcliffe’s information on the subject.

Possible-Wisdom Snippets From Peter

Possible

Feature Photo by Josh Couch Upsplash.com

I saw a little red Poppy today, standing proudly, in all its glory This flower had grown through a crack in the pavement along a busy street in a city. I asked, is this possible? It was a lesson for me; anything is possible

My dreams are not born of passivity but rather through passionate emotions for their realization.

Failure has never truly hurt me; what did hurt was not claiming back what I had lost.

The real power in my life comes from within, and I’m pleased about this, as no one can ever take it from me.

One day I saw a little red Poppy, standing proudly, in all its glory, having grown through a crack in the pavement along a busy street in a city. It was a lesson for me; nothing is impossible.

This little poppy was so beautiful; if she had have been human, I would have said she was gorgeous. There, between two dirty grey concrete slabs on a busy sidewalk, she made her home. She had grown out of the soil grouting between the slabs. The poppy had waited for moisture from the sky, and in the soil and humidity, she had nurtured herself.

We can overcome anything.

Despite all the elements against her, she had reached full maturity. How she had survived to this point could only have been a miracle. But the next day, on my way to the office, I saw she was gone. Did someone pick her and take her to an office desk, or was she trampled on? Perhaps the street sweeper pulled her up like a weed and tossed her in his bin. I have no idea.

We can rise into our glory.

I thought about her much after spending a little time of admiration in her presence. the little flower grew from a seed in a tiny amount of soil between two paving slabs. This poppy relied on elements other than herself to nurture in the dark and then blossom forth into the sunlight one day. She had no choice about the place of her birth or how she would grow and survive. Finally, she rose to face the world in all her glory and left having impacted those who saw her so briefly.

See what Carla has to say about rising above our circumstances.

Path-Wisdom Snippets From Peter

Path & Lighthouse

Feature Photo by William Bout Upsplash.com

There are times when I am seeking a path. Then there are times when I have to create my path.

When the light within me pours forth, the way ahead becomes clear.

I have no fear of slip-ups in my life. It has been my experience that these often lead to successful accomplishments.

It is said, “The eyes are the windows of the soul.” I am comforted by these words, as it means the peace within me becomes visible, through my eyes, for all to see.

Being able to influence my fellow humans, for their benefit, by my life, is deeply satisfying.

There are those of us who find that our lives are without enough meaning. We ask ourselves questions like, what am I doing in this life? What is my life’s purpose?

We all have the answers to our questions within us.

I’m the only one that can provide myself with the answers to these questions. The simple truth is that there is no ‘one-size-fits-all.’ The one common factor is this; we need direction that will take us to our purpose. But we need also be careful here, as ‘purpose’ in itself is not necessarily a destination. I think it’s more likely to be a journey.

Let me use one of my favorite examples: the onion (I love the red ones.) I set about peeling the outer layer to reach the skin. And what do I find? Another skin. If you’ve never peeled an onion before (you are declared a rare animal), you will find another skin. This process will continue until you have nothing!

Well, not quite nothing. You have at least accomplished your purpose; discovering the onion. Examined more closely, you have, in addition, a fair amount of skins that are useful for flavoring your cooking or salad. You have now found two purposes; discovering an onion and creating a meal supplement. Isn’t this marvelous?

We all have multiple purposes in our lives.

In essence, you may have multiple purposes in your life. You ask yourself, but how do I find even one purpose, let alone many? The answer is direction. Yes, direction, you read correctly.

I found an excellent article on direction, and for this reason, I’m handing you over to Rebecca.

Gift-Wisdom Snippets -From Peter.

Gift

Feature Photo by Jess Bailey Upsplash.com

I consider my life a magnificent gift. In addition, the gift of being able to do what I enjoy most.

In my life, my past experiences have been my classroom. My future is a rocket to my dreams. No sweat, whichever way I look.

I am cramming at this moment – not for an exam, no. I am filling this moment with all the joy and excitement I can muster, then tomorrow, I will start afresh.

I have discovered that a relationship that is respectful and transparent is like a well-tended garden, it produces rich fruit.
