Peter’s Quote for The Day Owl Wisdom Symbol

The Owl is a symbol of wisdom. Would this be because she avoids the senseless chirping and chatter around her during the day? She seeks her nourishment in the stillness of the night when all others are asleep. Maybe I should take a leaf out of her book. Speak less, listen more, and then, away from the maddening crowds, nourish my soul with words of wisdom.

Peter’s Quote for The Day Crises

Storm

Feature Photo by Johannes Plenio Upsplash.com

I never fear crises in my life. The sun rises, the winds blow, rain, and snow fall. In my life crises come and crises go, but the sun will rise tomorrow. I discovered anxiety to be an absolutely fruitless and damaging activity. I have observed how many times this activity turned out to be uncalled for. An anxious sleepless night disappears with the dawn and is forgotten by midday. There has, thankfully, never been a dull moment in my life, because accepting crises makes all the difference. C’est La Vie and move on!

Peter’s Quote for The Day.

Sunrise

Feature Photo by Federico Respini Upsplash.com

It is said, “…There is nothing new under the sun…” It is also said, “The sun rises on a new day.” Is the latter a mistake? Should it not read, “The sun rises on yet another day.” Should the former not read, “There are many things occurring under the sun daily that are similar to those that took place in times gone by?” I need to give this some thought…Right, I have decided; irrespective of how many events have reoccurred in my lifetime, will not alter the fact, if I do not examine these events and check to see if my responses are not a repetition of something that has failed before, I will fail again.
