Peter’s Quote for the Day – Uncertainty.

Uncertainty

Certainty or Uncertainty?

In my life I find the only true certainty is uncertainty; certainty is this moment now, nanoseconds later it becomes uncertainty. The reason for this is because what I was certain of nanoseconds ago is past. Past is linked to time and as time is an illusion, the past certainty I had is NOW an illusion. I went to a store to collect supplies. Everything was as I was certain to find it would be.

The following week I made my usual trip to the same store and it was gone! For a split second, I thought I might be hallucinating. But there it was – gone. I noticed by this time, huge boards stating that we were going to have a brand new store in a few months. Point taken, what was certain last week is no more this week. As a result, I live with uncertainty as my certainty, and I’m comfortable with this state.

Peter’s Quote of The Day

  1. “I used to spend ages on the internet searching for ways to find more time to complete all my daily tasks. I did this until I learned; I can never ‘find’ time because, time is an illusion. After all, if yesterday was a ‘today’ and tomorrow will be a ‘today,’ I have to believe its an illusion. I am able to make space in my waking moments to accomplish a particular task yes, but looking for time is surely a lost cause.”
Peter James

I love each new day; the advantage of waking up and finding I’m alive, and the fact that once again, opportunity calls from outside the covers. Its so worthwhile waking and having gratitude for being alive; because one day I will wake up and find I’m dead! On that day I shan’t bother to find out what’s outside the covers – I will know.

I am an Author, Writer, and Blogger.

Whilst the titles might make me sound important, I am not. I love people and have a strong passion to encourage people and help them to love themselves.

Writing and publishing on my blogsite is simply what I do.

What do I write? Over the years I have published, short stories, Inspirational articles, poems, reviews of books, movies, restaurants and more.

Although of late I have focused more on ‘Words of Wisdom’ articles that invite people to challenge themselves as far as their self-development is concerned and these I publish weekly, under the title, “Weekly Words of Wisdom” on my blogsite: http://www.sirpeterjames.com.

I have had an excellent response to the “Weekly Words of Wisdom,” as a result it makes sense to publish a daily, “Peter’s Quote for The Day,” in the hopes that you will, not only read it, but let the words be drawn into your very soul and finally, and most important of all – you will apply them to your life.

Save this link, because each day I will post “Peter’s Quote for the Day.”

Weekly Word of Wisdom

Too Late?

At 78 years of age, I discovered myself; and the most significant thing was, I realized it wasn’t too late! Too late for what? Well, to discover who I am and what I was capable of achieving!

I don’t think anything in life can be said to be, “too late.” The expression, ‘too late, is linked to time  and as time is an illusion, there is no such a thing as ‘too late.’

Marrianne Williamson

Who says it’s ‘too late’? Why, your Ego of course. Who is my Ego? The Ego is the Bot in your brain,  whose job it is to ensure you don’t perform any actions that could harm you, or cause you to make an idiot out of yourself.

This Bot is wired with a logic that says, ‘What you don’t do won’t harm you right now.’ So, the surest way to stop you is to say, ‘It’s too late’ The result? You stand there watching the back end of the tube train disappearing into the tunnel of Lost Opportunity.

The Gravy Train – Part Two

Gravy Train

I finished off Part One, last week with this statement:

How do you make your lap available?

It’s a very simple process called, ‘looking for opportunities’. Once you embark on this process, you will be nothing short of astounded by the amount of opportunities that cross your path, almost every second of the day.
