Peter’s Quote for The Day-You Never Too Late.

Too Late

Feature Photo by Aron Visuals Upsplash.com

It’s OK you’re Not Late.

I have come to understand that absolutely nothing is ever, ‘too late’ but rather, everything is always on time. There are some ancient wise words that say: “Everything on earth has its own time and its own season. There is a time for birth and death, planting and reaping…” I filtered this through to my own life and recalled how many times I have failed to take hold of opportunities; failed to respond to the calls of others and the list goes on. Does this happen in your life? I am teaching myself to respond to what I am easily able to do and to accept that which I’m not so easily able to deal with at the time. Above all, to be comfortable in what I am in a position to do or not to at any given moment. The result is that everything I do is just in time and I’m never too late.

Famous Author Quotes-Dr Maya Angelou On Love

Faithhopelove

Feature Chris Liu Upsplash.com

“Love recognizes no barriers. It jumps hurdles, leaps fences, penetrates walls to arrive at its destination full of hope.” Dr. Maya Angelou

I have understood that love in its purest forms will always accomplish its ends. It was quite startling for me, however, to realize that the word ‘love’, mostly associated with romance and that, as such, would be a weak and even vulnerable state. The one who is in love with another, whether it is reciprocated or not, opens themselves to being hurt. As such, I could not see this condition as a state of strength. Yet, if we consider the love of a mother for her child, now we have a vision of one would fight to the end to protect. I have seen similar situations, where the love of a fellow human leads to the same state of strength. It is when I think of these two examples that I am able to see that this type of love is selfless and therefore very powerful.

Peter’s Quote for The Day-Choose Light.

Light

Feature Photo by Allen Cai Upsplash.com

Live in The Light

All things which grow, seek the light, on finding it they flourish, whilst all things begin growing in the dark, there, they will never flourish. I look for light always. In the light I flourish, in the dark, I wither. As a child, I had terrible fears when I awoke in the dark, but with the light of the dawn, the dark and my fears disappeared. Now I say, ‘It’s best to live in the light.

Peter’s Quote of The Day

cropped-Druids-Glen-Two-1.jpg

I have suffered many pains in my long life; pains in my body, pains in my soul, but no pain seared my heart more than the pain I felt when my Son died. It is said that no parent should bury their child. I say, “I don’t know if they celebrate birthdays in heaven, but if they do, Happy Birthday Son; If I had known, I would have celebrated your birthday every day,”

Peter James

I love each new day; the advantage of waking up and finding I’m alive, and the fact that once again, opportunity calls from outside the covers. Its so worthwhile waking and having gratitude for being alive; because one day I will wake up and find I’m dead! On that day I shan’t bother to find out what’s outside the covers – I will know.

I am an Author, Writer, and Blogger.

Whilst the titles might make me sound important, I am not. I love people and have a strong passion to encourage people and help them to love themselves.

Writing and publishing on my blogsite is simply what I do.

What do I write? Over the years I have published, short stories, Inspirational articles, poems, reviews of books, movies, restaurants and more.

Although of late I have focused more on ‘Words of Wisdom’ articles that invite people to challenge themselves as far as their self-development is concerned and these I publish weekly, under the title, “Weekly Words of Wisdom” on my blogsite: http://www.sirpeterjames.com.

Having had an excellent response to the “Weekly Words of Wisdom,” it makes sense to publish a daily, “Peter’s Quote for The Day,” in the hopes that you will, not only read it, but let the words be drawn into your very soul and finally, and most important of all – you will apply them to your life.

The Yellow Snake

Yellow Python

The snake nestled itself around the neck of the fragile little child; a python that was at least a half a meter long and of good girth.

The little girl, quite unaware of any danger in this circumstance, remained completely still; almost unconcerned, when all of a sudden……

Don’t let me Die Alone…..

The shrill call of the telephone, a voice struggling for breath from one in deep pain, on the other end. “Daddy, I can take the pain no longer, I’m going to go home…” After thirty months of suffering, his wish granted, he died two days later in the arms of his brother, surrounded by his family. My Boy left us…..

A Letter to the Younger Me – Part Two

A Letter to 3

Who knows what lies in the mind of a child? Dreams and hopes, fears and sorrows. A child who seeks from those whose love and care is craved, just a smile, a word of approval, a touch of a hand, carried on a shoulder big and strong; lifted up and tossed into the air, then safely caught in strong hands…….

Who knows what lies in the mind of a child?

A Letter to the Younger Me – Part One

A Letter to 3

Who hears the cry of the child within and does not feel their pain. Does not feel their loneliness? Who hears the cry of the child within and does not sense their abandonment. Does not feel their longing for tenderness, understanding?

My Son Left Today

It is said, that no parent should have to bury their child.

Yet, in the span of our lives, we are not given the choice; there are many of us parents, who are given the painful task of burying our children.

Since time immemorial, certain parents have been handed this painful task; a task that came upon them suddenly and in shock, because a death of a child should not be theirs to realize.
