Weekly Words of Wisdom-Dying too Early.

Are You Dying Before Your Time?

Am I dying before my time? Once I commuted through traffic for an hour to arrive at my job in time for the 7.30 clock-in. Dressed in a grey jacket and tie and carrying my lunch in a briefcase, I tried to look important. Yip, I paid the price for resisting change offered to me on a plate by the universe. I never received any reward for fighting change in my life, only the prospect of growing old and dying before my time. You ask,” Is it possible to ‘die before one’s time’?”

I found out that I could quickly die before my time by dying before I died! I’m serious. Think about it; there must be a large community of souls whom we could term the ‘living dead.’ Those poor people whose daily activity is to exist. They have no hope for the future. (these are not limited to any age group.) I certainly was one of those.  In my life, the turnaround was when I was willing to accept all manner of change put across my path. Large or small. In other words, change, becoming a lifestyle for myself. Would you believe this: I have become younger?

Wisdom Snippets From Peter

Love

Seven Wisdom Snippets to Encourage you.

  • I keep doing what I love, because love is the most infectious quality I have to give.
  • It is not always the case that we gain wisdom with age, but often it is found there.
  • Short-term greed brings long-term ruination!
  • Until I can accept all my fellow humans as valuable partners in my journey through life, respecting whatever differences lie between us, there will be no peace on my earth.
  • When circumstances threaten to overwhelm me, I revise my thinking about them; this way, I am never overcome by my experiences.
  • Now and again, I trust my instincts and do the unexpected. When I do this, it brings encouraging results. If it doesn’t, that’s a pity. But I would instead have trusted and not received encouragement rather than not trust and never get anything anyway.
  • I am grateful I broke with traditionalism early in my adult life. However, I was always an upstream walker in any event. For this reason, it was not difficult for me to leave traditionalism by the wayside. I saw that traditionalism attempted to define me.

Peter’s Quote for the Day – Age.

Age

Feature Photo by Robert Thiemann Upsplash.com

Age.

Age has afforded me the most significant amount of no-cost experience. It is truly the best investment I have ever made (accepting all experiences I have ever had.) The beauty of this situation is, I am on a journey of never-ending experience. Everything I have learned in life was taught to me by experience. I think experiences of every sort, with no exception, must be a ‘Pearl of Great Price.” My age arranged it this way to improve my life and shape my attitude toward my fellow humans. Isn’t this wonderful?

Lovebirds

“The energy of the Lovebird is an expression of the beautiful unconditional love that can exist between two soulmates. The attraction of soulmates for one another is extremely powerful and can transcend many apparent cultural or man-made obstacles – such as age, religion, race or sex.

The soul wants to bring the two parts of itself together and the two people involved feel the tremendous yearning to implode into oneness. However, part of the challenge of the soulmate relationship, is to love the beloved so unconditionally that one truly wants only that which serve him or her the most – and sometimes physical union is not appropriate. It is the greatest gift one can give another soul – to love that person so unconditionally, that one can discern when it is appropriate to claim the beloved for oneself, or when it is more appropriate to let go and slip away”.
